PermaLink Ajax Podcast Followup12/27/2005 12:27 AM

During a recent podcast that Lance Spellman and I did about ajax and domino, the disucussion of the the Lotus Domino Web Access, mail template and how it does some of its neat stuff (at about time index 10 minutes). Bruce Elgort pointed out (correctly) that the web name picker dialog does not use Ajax, I let Lance handle that one, and just sat dumb, with nothing to say. What do they use? Am I remembering it correctly? Well, I saw something shiny, and the question completely left my mind. Well, I came back to it today and fired up the sniffer.

In the mail template I found that the name picker uses dynamic Javascript,  I did find that there is Ajax, specifically drawing folders (possibly other places).   What I didn't find was a ?ReadDesign, this would indicate that whatever magic that they use is somethign totally one of and not directly usable for other purpose.
